I am still awaiting response from the Conservative controlled County Council regarding my request to review signage in respect of rising bollards which is causing frequent accidents.
We know the Conservative cuts are having a profound impact on services. I wonder if there is lack of resource which means that there is no one to respond to such request.
This is a public safety issue which ought to be high on the priority list. The road signs are provided to direct drivers. However it appears that the signs are so inadequate that people are driving in and crashing into the bollards. This is not the purpose of the bollards.
Let's hope we can get a response from the County Council.
